DAVID CHEN, MD
After finishing residency and serving on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Academy of Family Practice, Dr. Chen returned to California to be near family. With experience as a private family practitioner, an emergency and an urgent care physician. Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin Chinese and is board certified in Family Practice.
JOHN LEUNG, MD
Completed medical school at Boston University and trained in Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Leung has served as the Emergency Department Medical Director at Palmdale Regional Medical Center, Garfield Medical Center, and Greater El Monte Hospital. He currently practices Emergency Medicine at Providence Holy Cross Hospital. He is able to speak Spanish and Mandarin Chinese with his patients. He is an avid Laker and L.A. Galaxy fan. Dr. Leung is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
ANDY HSU, MD
Attended medical school at Brown University. After training as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Northwestern University, Dr. Hsu has worked at Garfield Medical Center and Arcadia Methodist Hospital. He is currently practicing Emergency Medicine at San Gabriel Valley Hospital and Kaiser West L.A. He is able to speak Mandarin Chinese and medical Spanish with his patients. Dr. Hsu is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Emily joined the Smart Clinic team in April 2016 after completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Middle Tennessee State University. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and attended Western Kentucky University, where she played volleyball and completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. Emily worked as a nurse on medical, surgical, and cardiac units before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. Emily works at both the West Covina and Santa Clarita clinics.

COURTNEY KOSNIK NP
Courtney Kosnik went to nursing school in Pennsylvania where she earned her BSN and worked in New Jersey for two years as a new graduate in the Emergency Department before moving to California with her husband. She continued her career in the ED at Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance where she worked for 6 years and became a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse and a Certified Emergency Nurse. Wanting more experience with critical care, she began working at Harbor General in the ER to better understand trauma patients and the extra care they require. In 2013 she began the Masters program at Walden University where she then graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Family Nurse Practitioner and earned acceptance into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. Courtney’s 11 years spent working in the ER as well as her FNP degree and a passion for learning have prepared her for her role as an Advanced Practice Nurse where she hopes to continue caring for patients on a higher level. She currently lives in Santa Clarita with her husband and two little boys and is grateful to be able to continue helping people in the community through the SmartClinic Urgent Care.
ANTHONY MOWREY NP
Anthony graduated from USC with his both his Bachelor’s of Science in nursing and his Master’s of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is nationally board certified. He has over 13 years experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Nursing Practice and, in his free time, enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and playing soccer.
