About Practice

Smart Clinic Urgent Care offers prompt, personalized, and effective medical services for patients of all ages at its locations in West Covina and Santa Clarita, California. The prestigious clinic was one of the first urgent care centers in the state of California to be certified by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) and it’s also one of only a handful of certified urgent care centers in Los Angeles County.

At Smart Clinic Urgent Care, the dedicated medical team includes doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and X-ray technicians who are available seven days a week with extended hours.

Smart Clinic Urgent Care provides physicals, including immigration, Department of Transportation (DOT), nurse, sports, and school, IV drip therapy, STD testing, immunizations, pediatric care, and healthy lifestyle guidance. The qualified medical group treats various conditions and complications, such as fractures, flu, sports injury, and other non-life-threatening injuries or trauma, urinary tract infections, bronchitis, minor lacerations and burns, strains, animal or insect bites, and asthma.

Smart Clinic Urgent Care has received several awards and recognitions. The practice was chosen as the Ultimate Urgent Care by Elite Magazine and received the certificate of recognition from the California State Assembly. They also had the honor of a Best Business in 2018, Three Best Rated® excellence award.

Smart Clinic Urgent Care accepts and works with different types of insurance plans and organizations, such as HMOs and IPAs. The team accepts referrals and works with self-pay individuals at an affordable price. They can typically provide care at around one-third of the cost of an emergency room visit.

To provide the best possible convenient and efficient care in one place, the providers also offer in-house digital X-rays, instant testing for strep, flu, and mono, and certain laboratory testing. This way, patients don’t have to deal with traveling to other locations or the fuss and long wait times of the hospital emergency room.

The providers speak many different languages, including English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, so they can serve the diverse community of each of their locations and utilize the latest advanced technologies for the best possible results.
