I received my masters in PA from Loma Linda University in 2017 and have been practicing in family practice, ED, and urgent care. My passion has always been to be challenged by pathophysiology and thinking outside of the box. Which is why I am passionate to work in UC to have a variety of diagnosis and be challenged daily. I enjoy traveling and my passion is to see a new country every year. I received my BA in psychology from University of New Hampshire, and worked as a behavior intervention therapist for 3 years. I then started working as a medical need evaluator and examiner for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. It was then that I decided to expand my career and pursue medicine more seriously. I started working as a medical assistant and taking classes to qualify for admission to PA school. I now can not think of any better and more efficient rout that I could have taken as I am enjoying my daily life working as a PA and learning as I go.
